While at North Carolina’s Wizard World David Tennant briefly talked about his upcoming role as Purple Man in Marvel’s A.K.A Jessica Jones praising the scripts for the show, and the comic book medium.

This Saturday actor David Tennat attended North Carolina’s Wizard World where he briefly discussed his role in Marvel’s upcoming Netflix series, A.K.A Jessica Jones, and his love for comic books.

“You should read these scripts. They’re really good,” was all that Tennant let slip regarding the Netflix series David before mentioning the famous Marvel Snipers. As a long time comic book fan Tennant revealed how excited he is to work with Marvel saying, “this is something I grew up with. It’s like my eight year old self doesn’t know what to do with himself.”

Tennant went on to express his love for comic books as a medium, and the cultural impact that Marvel will have. “I think comic books are a glorious wonderful art form and I think Marvel is one of the things that we’ll be looking back on in a hundred years’ time, they’ll be one of the cornerstones of our cultural existence.”
