Original T. Rex Confirmed For Jurassic World!

As many have speculated back when we first saw her, Slashfilm has recently just confirmed that the tyrannosaurus rex seen in Jurassic World – is in fact, the same one who famously saved the day back in the original Jurassic Park.

Almost iinstantaneously after the photo above was released of the Jurassic World’s t-rex, fans began to notice that the scars depicted on its neck, did in fact match up with injuries sustained by the tyrannosaurus who saved Alan in the third act of Jurassic Park.

Slashfilm, in a feature about the film’s special effects, has now confirmed that it’s the same beast.

“Yeah. I mean, we took the original design and obviously, technology has changed,” director Colin Trevorrow told Slashfilm. “So, it’s going to move a little bit differently, but it’ll move differently because it’s older. And we’re giving her some scars and we’re tightening her skin. So, she has that feeling of, like, an older Burt Lancaster. And this movie is her Unforgiven.”

There’s been a few theories that the T-Rex could be a real key player in the plot of the new film, possibly serving as a characteristic adversary to the artificially made dinosaur who serves as the motion picture’s fundamental enemy,. This wouldn’t be all that amazing, given that Jurassic World has taken incredible agonies so far to attempt and summon the first film. The starting teaser for the trailer included the swells some water visual from Jurassic Park, while the trailer itself had callbacks to a modest bunch of shots from the first film too.

Scientistss guess that T-Rex most likely lived somewhere around 20 and 30 years, attaining to full size around age 20. With Jurassic Park turning out precisely 22 years prior Jurassic World, that puts our “legend” T-Rex well inside that estimated age extent, accepting that nothing about the future had changed as a consequence of the hereditary tinkering that restored the Jurassic Park dinosaurs in any case.
